We’ll meet at the iconic Guadalupe Church, then take a 15-minute walk to León’s historic cemetery. Our first stop is the entrance, where the stark inscription reads: “Death makes us all equal” a powerful statement on social and philosophical themes. Along the main avenue, we’ll explore the cemetery’s history before entering its oldest section, with tombs from the 16th century. From humble graves to elaborate monuments, we’ll uncover artistic details, legends, and the tragic story behind Nicaragua’s first serial killer. We’ll finish with coffee back in town.
