If you’re looking to truly sink into surf life, this 10-day surf camp at Mano a Mano is the full experience. Set in the laid-back beach town of Las Peñitas, just 30 minutes from León, this camp is all about progression, connection, and unforgettable adventures both in and out of the water.
Over ten days, you’ll surf consistently, slow down into the beach rhythm, and mix wave time with volcanoes, jungle, yoga, and local culture. This isn’t a quick surf getaway it’s a deep dive into Nicaragua’s surf lifestyle.
Surf, progress and beachlife
Your days revolve around the ocean, guided by the experienced instructors from Dale Pues Surf School. With nine structured surf lessons, daily board rentals, video analysis, and even a skateboarding session to improve balance, you’ll see real progression whether you’re standing up for the first time or refining your turns.
You’ll also head out on a full-day surf trip to El Tránsito, one of Nicaragua’s most consistent surf beaches. Think warm water, open beach breaks, and long, playful waves plus breakfast, lunch, and coaching included.
Between sessions, relax at the hostel, stretch it out in six yoga classes, or enjoy cold drinks and sunsets by the sea.

This surf camp goes far beyond the beach. One of the highlights is sunset volcano boarding on Cerro Negro, where you hike an active volcano and slide down its black ash slopes as the sun drops behind León adrenaline guaranteed.
You’ll also head out on a 2-hour fishing trip, learning local techniques and enjoying time on the Pacific. From early-morning surf to star-filled nights, every day brings a new layer of adventure.

Nope! Everything you need is included boards, rash guards, and transport for surf trips. Just bring your swimwear, sunscreen and good vibes.
The surf camp takes place at Hostel Mano a Mano in Las Peñitas, a laid-back beach town just 30 minutes from León, right on Nicaragua’s Pacific coast.
