Itinerary
We start with a 6 AM pickup and drive two hours to enjoy breakfast overlooking Lake Cocibolca. Then we arrive at Colón and take a private boat through the Papaturro River to the Guatuzos Wildlife Reserve, where we’ll spot birds and learn about the local nature. After lunch in the reserve, we explore trails full of life. Later, we head to Solentiname and stay at a local hotel by the lake, enjoy a bonfire, and a traditional dinner. The next day we visit artisans, learn about the island’s history, and return after lunch, with optional fishing before heading back.

- The first night is spent in a cozy, locally-owned hotel in the charming riverside town of El Castillo. second Night In a Small Island In the middle of the river in the heart of Indio Maíz Reserve. You can choose between sleeping in a tent or a hammock, both are provided and set up for you in a safe, designated area surrounded by the jungle. third night we spend in a camping place in the jungle.
